THE DECISION IN BRIEF
Can we change from spray to foam by fitting a different nozzle?
Treat it as a new formula–dispenser combination. Obtain the proposed foam configuration, then compare foam formation, application and recovery with the intended cleaner.
Define the visible result
Ask what the foam must do: remain on a vertical surface, spread with a wipe or simply make the application visible. Appearance at the outlet is not enough. Compare the deposit on the intended surface, using the relevant distance and operating rhythm.
Keep dose and foam volume separate. An impressive foam pile does not disclose the liquid used to produce it. Record collected liquid delivery separately if consumption affects cost or instructions.
Keep the comparison controlled
Use the same formula batch when comparing candidate nozzle arrangements. If dilution is proposed, record it as a formula change requiring review by the responsible product team. Do not adjust the liquid solely to make a demonstration look better and then quote the original product.
Watch for liquid running out without useful foam, intermittent behavior, or residue at the mesh or outlet after standing. Preserve affected samples for supplier evaluation instead of cleaning every unit before the follow-up observation.
Approve the stored and used pack
Repeat the chosen application after the agreed storage and use sequence. Review ease of operation and remaining product as well as foam appearance. If the package needs a cleaning step, confirm that the intended customer can perform it under the supplied instructions.
Keep the foam candidate separate from the normal spray option in the order. Record the formula and deposit behavior that justified selecting it. Substitution between the two configurations should require review even if the shroud color and nominal neck finish are identical.
